This is the fifth service we have posted during the COVID-19 pandemic. All down through history, mankind has been faced with disease and suffering. These times are not so unusual except that we had started thinking we had it all figured out and were beyond things like pandemics. And yet, the Word of God tells us that we are not as smart as we think we are.

Greetings to you on this Resurrection Sunday! Even though we are all bottled up and our movements are restricted, we can still look to the Lord and praise Him for His great mercy!

On a cloudy, rainy day, the Lord gave us a break to see the sun rise on the earth. He is Risen! The grave could not contain Him! The sun came up to an empty Tomb!

MAUNDY THURSDAY – THE LAST SUPPER

This is not high tech…power point and clip art…but hopefully it will make you think about that evening and the events leading to the Last Supper:

• Why did Jesus pick a colt/donkey instead of a fine horse?
• How did it feel to hear shouts of Hosanna?
• Why did Jesus get so mad in the Temple?
• Why didn’t the disciples understand Jesus was preparing for his death?
• How did the woman know it time to anoint Jesus?
